Office Ratings Fall Hard Without Steve Carell

steve-carell-office-ratings.jpg

It was to be expected, especially since last week the audience count was at an all-time high to see him go.

The numbers are in and last night's episode of The Office, the first without Steve Carell as the boss, dipped in the ratings by 17 percent. With only 2.7 million viewers tuning it, it garnered the show a meger 1.1 standing in the key 18-49 demo.

No surprise, American Idol was #1, up 7 percent from Wednesday's show and up 6 percent in total viewers (20.8 million vs. 19.6 million)

Sad face. They better put a new boss in there soon! It doesn't seem like the show will be able to stay afloat amidst such uncertainty.
