Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides star Penelope Cruz is the lucky lady who landed the June cover of Vogue, which will be available on newsstands May 24. She posed for photographer Mario Testino before embarking on her world tour to promote the last installment in the Disney franchise, and just today, Penelope Cruz was in Munich for her latest premiere. Penelope wore a range of Dolce & Gabbana clothes for her shoot with Mario, including a lace one-piece that showed off her amazing postbaby body. She also spoke to the magazine in an accompanying interview about how motherhood changed her life, and shared once again about her love for karaoke. Penelope Cruz told Vogue:

Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe both came out to watch Deacon's flag football game in LA yesterday. Reese and Ryan cheered on their son and even shared a blanket while they sat on the sidelines, though they left the event separately. The parents have come together for their kids before and they were most recently spotted stepping out for Deacon's birthday celebration in October. Reese, who's still wearing a walking cast for a minor ankle injury, kicked off her weekend at lunch in Santa Monica with friends on Friday while Ryan checked out the Prince concert last night.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were the center of attention at The Tree of Life premiere tonight during the Cannes Film Festival, and there were plenty of other stars on hand to join them on the red carpet. Jude Law, who is one of the jurors at this year's film festival, joined Brad's costar Jessica Chastain, in addition to Rob Lowe, Zoe Saldana, Gwen Stefani, and Gavin Rossdale. Gwen and Gavin joined in on the fun in France following a week in his native Britain, and they wasted no time throwing on bikinis and going shirtless to enjoy the Mediterranean over the weekend. Sean Penn shares the screen with Brad and Jessica, and he joined them for today's event as well. Sean's girlfriend, Scarlett Johansson, didn't walk the press line, however. Brad's big evening caps off an exciting week for the Jolie-Pitts. Angelina made the rounds last week to chat up and debut her Kung Fu Panda 2, also making the exciting announcement that her directorial debut will be called In the Land of Blood and Honey and will hit theaters on Dec. 23.
Twilight's Nikki Reed and her main man, Paul McDonald, headed to Las Vegas for the weekend to get a jump start on her 23rd birthday. The pair kicked off Friday night with a trip to the Sugar Factory, where Nikki stocked up on candy, and later hit the Gallery Nightclub at Planet Hollywood. Nikki indulged in additional dessert there with her pink and white cake, and Paul added more sweetness with hugs and kisses. Sin City is the latest stop for Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald, who got cozy while watching American Idol last week and also took in a Prince concert together. Nikki's actual birthday is tomorrow, just a few days after her Breaking Dawn costar Robert Pattinson's milestone 25th.
Brad Pitt has had a busy day between his The Tree of Life premiere with Angelina Jolie and his early morning photocall alongside costar Jessica Chastain. In between the events, Brad opened up about the Terrence Malick-directed movie at a press conference. He touched on the film's theme of religious predestination, revealing a bit about his past.
Brad Pitt told reporters, "I got brought up being told things were God's way, and when things didn't work out it was called God's plan. I've got my issues with it. Don't get me started. I found it very stifling." Tackling religion could be a risky thing to do before the world's media, but Brad fans rarely get to hear him speak about his childhood. She was joined by boyfriend Jason Trawick to sit behind the plate, while Kevin Federline coached the team and his girlfriend, Victoria Prince, played with Jayden. Britney Spears is on the June cover of Harper's Bazaar and chatted about her upcoming North American tour in the accompanying interview. Britney spoke about how being a mom has affected her career decisions, but she went on Twitter to reveal that her favorite single from new album Femme Fatale is the new tune "I Wanna Go."
Penelope Cruz greeted fans and press in a beautiful red gown at today's Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides premiere in Munich. It's the latest stop on Penelope's round-the-world tour, which has so far taken her from the US to Russia, Britain, France, and now Germany. She's had the company of her good-looking costar Johnny Depp for the majority of the trip, though her husband, Javier Bardem, has yet to join her on any carpets. Penelope did, though, speak about Javier and their young son, Leo, in the upcoming June issue of Vogue. Penelope Cruz actually started crying during the Vogue interview, as she was overcome with emotion while talking about her love for baby Leo.

Gisele Bundchen dressed up for a good cause in NYC last night in order to attend the United Nations For the Environment Programme’s Champions of the Earth Awards at the American Museum of Natural History. She's a goodwill ambassador for the organization and shared the stage with luminaries like Mexican President Felipe Calderón. It was the supermodel's third night of philanthropy in less than a week, after she attended Friday's Global Environmental Citizen Awards and Monday's Robin Hood Gala. She had her husband, Tom Brady, and his hair on hand for the latter event, which raised $47 million to fight poverty. Gisele's latest evening of charity was to kick off a UN-sponsored challenge for World Environment Day, which is on June 5. Angelina Jolie and Jack Black kicked off promotion for their movie Kung Fu Panda 2 during the Cannes Film Festival by chatting with Extra. The duo shared about their latest animated feature and some early role models - Jack confessed to loving the Bionic Man, though Angelina, who identified with bad guys, said her partner, Brad Pitt, probably loved the Bionic Woman. Angelina revealed her new tattoo's meaning to be the longitude and latitude of Brad's Oklahoma birthplace and also addressed rumors she'd adding to her family.
Yesterday, we were THRILLED to learn that Paula Abdul had joined X Factor US as a judge!
We were happy for Paula, who seems VERY excited to be back at Simon's side.
Now, Simon has opened up about why there was such a delay with securing Paula's deal as an X Factor judge, and he's blaming the lawyers:
"I would've canceled today (if deal hadn't gone through).""The issue was that these conversations had gone on long enough. It's not like I sprung this on somebody. I just thought it's time for everyone to do their job and get the deal done. I couldn't have sat in front of you lot and said (Paula) wanted to do the deal and we couldn't."
"I could just sense that the public would've been disappointed without Paula. You see how we are; we get on really well."
Sources say that one of the issues with the deal had to do with her short-lived show Live to Dance, but Simon was determined to make it work anyway:
"She's Paula Abdul. Nothing's ever easy, but I'm used to it."
All very nice to hear! There's something sweet about Simon's loyalty to Paula. We approve!

We're delighted to report that Kings of Leon's Matthew Followill, and his wife, Johanna Bennett, welcomed their first son, Knox Cameron Patrick Followill, on April 22nd, 2011 in Nashville, TN!
A representative for the guitarist says in a statement:

You know, the one that's cited as one of the catalysts to the whole thing? That one. And he's got a 7 figure book deal for it too.
Awesomely, not only did Wael Ghonim set in motion the inspiration people needed to start an uprising, but he plans on donating the proceeds of his book to charity that he founded to fight poverty and support education.
If for some reason you don't know who he is:
Ghonim is an Egyptian who has overseen Google's marketing in the Middle East and Africa. He became a key part of organizing protests through a Facebook page he started in honor of Khaled Said, a 28-year-old businessman who died in June at the hands of undercover police, a hated institution for many Egyptians.
Soon after rallies began calling for the ouster of Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak, Ghonim said he was snatched off the street and spent much of his detention blindfolded. Upon his release, he confirmed reports that he was the administrator of the Facebook page.
Wael Ghonim's Revolution 2.0 is comin' out Jan. 25, and after all the buzz at the London Book Fair, bids exploded past a couple million dollars.
It'll be great to see how well it does. Ghonim too a sabbatical from Google to write it.
