Alexander Skarsgard Gets In a Guys' Lunch Ahead of His Hot Cannes Trip

Alexander Skarsgard met up with a friend for lunch in LA yesterday at his favorite place, West Hollywood hotspot Joan's on Third. Alexander will soon trade the California sunshine for the warm weather in the South of France, where he'll premiere Melancholia at the Cannes Film Festival next week. He's one of many hot stars headed for Cannes, which already kicked off with appearances from Rachel McAdams, Salma Hayek, and this morning, Angelina Jolie. Alexander's girlfriend, Kate Bosworth, may or may not join him for the overseas festivities, though they should step out together when they start promoting Straw Dogs later this year.

Kerry Katona Gets Almost Three Dollars A Week In Child Support

This is just unacceptable! How can a judge allow this!

Mark Croft and Kerry Katona broke off their relationship awhile ago, but they still share two children. It was decided by the courts that Mark pay Kerry child support as she will be taking primary care of the children. However, according to reports, it has been decided that Mark will only owe Kerry "£1.66 a week in maintenance for each of their two children."

Don't bother. The conversion comes out to about $2.70! A week! What is she supposed to do with that? Buy them some gum???

Supposedly, the Child Support Agency has accepted Mark's filing that he is on a fixed income and only earns £75 a week working in a café. However, you know how he gets to this job at the cafe? In a car…an Audi A4 red convertible with a personalized number plate to be exact.

Someone care to explain to us how he has that car, but not enough money to send to his kids? Logic in this, anyone? Anyone?

Robert Pattinson Gets Out of Town With His Guitar in Hand

Robert Pattinson arrived at the airport to catch a flight out of Sydney today. He was in Australia promoting Water For Elephants with Reese Witherspoon and the costars were greeted by a large elephant upon landing Down Under. They later dressed up for that evening's premiere and also made an appearance on The Graham Norton Show. Rob and Reese chatted about the royal wedding and finally settled the debate about Tai the elephant farting on set during their time on the talk show. Attention turned to Rob's Breaking Dawn character when a new still from the movie was released today that features him as Edward with Kristen Stewart as Bella. She's been on the East Coast taking care of their pup, Bear, after attending the Met Gala earlier this week.

Penelope Cruz Gets Ready to Set Sail With Johnny Depp

Penelope Cruz looked perfectly Springy in polka dots stopping by the Live With Regis and Kelly studios in NYC this morning. It's a quick trip to the Big Apple for Penelope, as she's expected back in LA tomorrow night for a Tonight Show appearance, though the taped interview doesn't air until next Thursday. It's just the beginning of the worldwide media blitz she and her costar, Johnny Depp, are embarking on leading up to the May 20 release of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. In addition to stops on the East and West Coasts, Johnny and Penelope are heading to Cannes later this month for the world premiere of their film. The latest Pirates of the Caribbean trailer shows Captain Jack Sparrow up to his old tricks as he attempts to charm Penelope's character and save the life of an innocent mermaid.
