Alexander Skarsgard Gets In a Guys' Lunch Ahead of His Hot Cannes Trip

Alexander Skarsgard met up with a friend for lunch in LA yesterday at his favorite place, West Hollywood hotspot Joan's on Third. Alexander will soon trade the California sunshine for the warm weather in the South of France, where he'll premiere Melancholia at the Cannes Film Festival next week. He's one of many hot stars headed for Cannes, which already kicked off with appearances from Rachel McAdams, Salma Hayek, and this morning, Angelina Jolie. Alexander's girlfriend, Kate Bosworth, may or may not join him for the overseas festivities, though they should step out together when they start promoting Straw Dogs later this year.

Jessica Alba is all smiles as she and daughter Honor have a lunch date with friends in Brentwood, Calif., on Wednesday (February 2).

When director James Cameron joined Twitter last week, Jessica Alba welcomed him by saying,”Yo tweeples follow my dear friend and mentor @JimCameron!!! ;)”

Cameron then replied back, “Jess, we have to do another kick butt project together soon! Dying 2 open a can o wup ass - It’s been too long.”

Halle Berry and her boyfriend Olivier Martinez grab lunch at Angelini restaurant in Los Angeles on Thursday (January 13).

The 44-year-old actress chatted with a fan while waiting for their car at the valet following their meal.

The day before, Halle, who just received an NAACP nomination for her work in Frankie & Alice, took her daughter Nahla shopping and brought home some cake!

Halle is also a nominee at this weekend’s Golden Globe Awards.
