Alexander Skarsgard Gets In a Guys' Lunch Ahead of His Hot Cannes Trip

Alexander Skarsgard met up with a friend for lunch in LA yesterday at his favorite place, West Hollywood hotspot Joan's on Third. Alexander will soon trade the California sunshine for the warm weather in the South of France, where he'll premiere Melancholia at the Cannes Film Festival next week. He's one of many hot stars headed for Cannes, which already kicked off with appearances from Rachel McAdams, Salma Hayek, and this morning, Angelina Jolie. Alexander's girlfriend, Kate Bosworth, may or may not join him for the overseas festivities, though they should step out together when they start promoting Straw Dogs later this year.

Alexander Skarsgard: Works of Art Celebration with Joe Manganiello!

True Blood co-stars Alexander Skarsgard and Joe Manganiello head out for the night to support the arts on Thursday (April 28) in Culver City, Calif.

The two stars, along with numerous others, gathered to celebrate IWC Schaffhausen and Peter Lindbergh’s “A Night in Portofino,” a photographic collaboration between the legendary photographer, the Swiss watchmaker and IWC.

This one night event was a hit!

Also in attendance at the star studded event were Josh Duhamel, Rob Lowe, and Rachel Zoe, to name a few!

Alexander Skarsgard and his girlfriend Kate Bosworth spend some more time together during the second day of the Coachella Music Festival on Saturday (April 16) in Indio, Calif.

The couple were joined by a group of friends as they made their way to the next performance.

Earlier in the day, Kate, 28, was spotted chatting with friend and stylist Cher Coulter.

The day before, the happy couple enjoyed day one of the festival as they went to see the Kings of Leon.

Alexander Skarsgard: Flip the Script

Hunky True Blood star Alexander Skarsgard holds onto a script as he heads out of a business meeting and walks back to his car on Thursday (February 3) in Los Angeles.

The 34-year-old Swedish actor next stars in the action flick, Battleship. His co-star, blonde beauty Brooklyn Decker, told MTV, “I think Alex said something that the [board] game was the inspiration for the movie and not necessarily the storyboard for the movie and I would be in agreement with that. It’s an action/war film, so we draw inspiration from the game in that it is called Battleship and Hasbro is heavily involved.”
