Gwyneth Paltrow: Cookbook Signing in New Jersey!

Gwyneth Paltrow arrives at the Williams-Sonoma store in Short Hills, New Jersey on Friday (April 15).

The 38-year-old actress had a busy afternoon - earlier in the day, she signed copies of My Father’s Daughter: Delicious, Easy Recipes Celebrating Family & Togetherness in one of Williams-Sonoma’s NYC locations.

Gwyneth will head to the west coast for more book signings next week. She’ll also reprise her role as Holly Holiday on Tuesday’s upcoming episode of Glee!

Gwyneth Paltrow Covers Adele's 'Turning Tables'

Gwyneth Paltrow dresses up in costume to teach a history lesson in an episode of Glee airing on Tuesday (April 19).

The 38-year-old actress covers Adele’s song “Turning Tables” in the episode, which also features such songs as “Ain’t No Way,” “All By Myself,” and “I Follow Rivers.”

The episode also marks the return of Charice, who hasn’t been featured on Glee since the season two premiere!

“Turning Tables” is off Adele’s most recent album 21, which has been blowing up the Billboard charts since its release earlier this year.

Gwyneth Paltrow: Williams-Sonoma Book Signing!

Gwyneth Paltrow arrives at her book signing held at the Williams-Sonoma store in New York City’s Time Warner Center on Friday (April 15).

The 38-year-old actress wore a Vionnet navy cotton crochet dress as she signed copies of her new cookbook, My Father’s Daughter: Delicious, Easy Recipes Celebrating Family & Togetherness!

The day before, Gwyneth signed copies of the book at a Barnes and Noble in NYC. She will continue her book tour later in the evening in New Jersey before heading to the west coast for a signing next week.

Gwyneth’s cover of Adele’s “Turning Tables” from next week’s episode of Glee was just released!

FYI: Gwyneth is wearing Aperlai pumps.

Here’s what the 38-year-old Country Strong actress had to share:

On why she’s seldom photographed with husband Chris Martin: “If I’m looking grumpy in public or if Chris and I leave a restaurant separately, it’s only because we don’t want to encourage photographers.”

On Chris: “I can depend on him. He makes me laugh. He’s really appreciative of me. You know, he makes me feel special.”

On fighting post-partum depression after son Moses‘ birth: “I felt like a zombie. I couldn’t access my heart. I couldn’t access my emotions. I couldn’t connect. It was terrible, it was the exact opposite of what had happened when Apple was born. With her, I was on cloud nine. I couldn’t believe it wasn’t the same. I just thought it meant I was a terrible mother and a terrible person.”

On learning to play guitar for Country Strong: “It was so much fun to pick up a new skill. I can be a perfectionist, so I really practiced. And between Chris’s help and the director needing me to be prepared, I was totally ready when the time came.”
