Nikki Reed Shares a Sweet Birthday Weekend in Vegas With Paul McDonald

Twilight's Nikki Reed and her main man, Paul McDonald, headed to Las Vegas for the weekend to get a jump start on her 23rd birthday. The pair kicked off Friday night with a trip to the Sugar Factory, where Nikki stocked up on candy, and later hit the Gallery Nightclub at Planet Hollywood. Nikki indulged in additional dessert there with her pink and white cake, and Paul added more sweetness with hugs and kisses. Sin City is the latest stop for Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald, who got cozy while watching American Idol last week and also took in a Prince concert together. Nikki's actual birthday is tomorrow, just a few days after her Breaking Dawn costar Robert Pattinson's milestone 25th.

Paul McDonald & Nikki Reed: Dating!

American Idol’s Paul McDonald and Twilight actress Nikki Reed are officially dating!

“Yes, me and Nikki are dating. It’s officially true,” Paul told E! “She’s super cool. She’s super smart so I’m happy with it. We’ve been hanging out here and there. We’re both pretty busy, but it been fun so far.”

Paul said that Nikki is not bummed that he was voted off American Idol last night.

“She is actually pumped,” he told People. “She said, ‘Dude, you finally get to do your thing and be yourself and be the artist you are.’ She is happy about the whole situation. She has been nothing but cool to me.”

Paul, 26, and Nikki, 22, first met at the premiere of Red Riding Hood last month.
