Lily Aldridge holds up a pair of JUST MARRIED undies as she debuts the new “Sexy Little Bride” collection from Victoria’s Secret at the Lexington Avenue VS store in New York City on Wednesday morning (April 20).
The 25-year-old VS angel, who paired a Sue Wong dress and Miu Miu shoes, dished about her upcoming wedding to Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill:
On Coachella Musical Festival 2011: “It was amazing. The last time I was at Coachella, they played in the afternoon. And this time, they headlined. So much fun. You were there! We danced a little. (laughs)”
On first meeting Caleb: “We met the very first time KoL played Coachella. [Model Jessica Stam] made it happen. She was the one who dragged me to Coachella at 2 in the morning. If it wasn’t for her… Lots of love connections are made at Coachella!”
On her first date with Caleb: “Our courtship was the most fun I’ve ever had. We always talk about how much fun we had. We loved every minute of it. Our first date was at Nobu in London at the Metropolitan Hotel. At one point during the dinner, I asked him, Are you nervous? He said, Yeah. And I was like, Me too.” Awww!
On the upcoming nuptials: “My wedding is very traditional. I didn’t think at first I wanted that. But now that it’s getting closer, traditions are kind of once. There’s going to be really good music, wine, and good food. My dress is gorgeous and I’m so excited to wear it. I recently got my shoes and I was jumping up and down when I put them on.”
On if she’s in the Kings of Leon documentary, Talihina Sky, which will premiere tomorrow at the Tribeca Film Festival: I can’t remember if I’m in it! I’m probably in the background waving at some point. But I’ve seen it and it’s so good! There’s parts in it before Caleb and I met. It’s like, Who is that person? (laughs) It’s all about family, friends, and religion. People are going to love it!”
