“I actually just met [Leo] for the first time Saturday at the DGA Awards. Sure, we talked business,” Hammer told E!. “He’s a talented actor. I’m not nervous or afraid of it being awkward. The script is great. The scenes are in there for a reason. I’m really excited.”

The 1700s storyline has Alex’s character, Tom Ward, training to be an exorcist (he’s able to see and hear ghosts and smell the presence of death).
The Seventh Son was formerly known as The Spook’s Apprentice and is part of Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures’ adaptation of Joseph Delaney’s young adult series The Last Apprentice.
